Hey kids. Just wanted to let you know I killed my hard drive and so I'm having to reconstruct the blog. I'll have it back to form soon. I the meantime, watch C-Span 3 RIGHT NOW!
That ship has sailed. Watch C-SPAN 2 RIGHT FRIGGING NOW. There's an actual real debate going on!
C-SPAN 1 is blazing right now. What a day! C-SPAN 2 is airing the replay of the DSM hearings now too.
Blogslut is not down because of 2257. I'm just lazy.
Got a missive about a missive - sent by AnntiChrist Coulter - to the harbingers of taste at Cafe Press. Read Annti's complaint letter and the response from some dude named Mike: On 6/22/05 7:49 AM UTC, AnntiChrist Coulter wrote: I have written (from the above e-mail address) to your company twice in the past two days, asking why you would allow such vile crap as the "I (heart) Gitmo!" shop to exist. I have not received even so much as a form letter in response. Your company has censored the "Jesus' General" shop (and yet he still continues to use this company, something which I will never understand) over the Rick Santorum spoof propaganda poster, calling it "hate speech," yet you continue to allow and promote a shop that praises and promotes the TORTURE OF PRISONERS OF WAR. Your company obviously feels allied with an administration that considers war crimes and the Geneva Convention to be "quaint," as in, IRRELEVANT. Can someone address this hypocritical stance, or will you continue to ignore my queries? The response from Cafe Press:

Looks like the AP got an advance copy of Dubya's big speech for tonight: "Like most Americans, I see the images of violence and bloodshed. Every picture is horrifying and the suffering is real," Bush said, according to excerpts released ahead of time by the White House. "It is worth it." You better not be smiling when you say that, Cowboy.
"After September 11, 2001, I told the American people that the road ahead would be difficult - and that we would prevail. Well, it has been difficult. And we are prevailing." -- President George W Bush, June 28, 2005
