Say hello to George C. Dalmas III.

44 years old. Married father of two. His neighbors in the upper-middle class Fairfax, Virginia suburb of Falls Church had no idea a rash of burglaries in their vicinity were being perpetrated by this supposedly normal family man.

According to the Falls Church News-Press:

"Police reported they found at Dalmas’ home a large stash of cash, jewelry, antiques, license plates and bags filled with more than 1,000 women’s undergarments. The home was raided by police at 7 a.m. on Jan. 31, and Dalmas was arrested after that..."

The kicker?

"...Described as a 'mid-level administrative employee' with the CIA, he is suspended without pay pending the outcome of the case. According to Fairfax Police’s Office Richard Henry, some of the homes burglarized belonged to CIA employees, and Dalmas may have targeted them because he knew they wouldn’t be home.

In addition to the valuable coins, bills, antiques and women’s clothing, police found 'meticulous records', including real estate open house fliers, lists of home security vulnerabilities, maps, journals, datebooks and logs, all believed to be linked to his robbery activities, according to authorities..."

Mr. Dalmas is being held at the Fairfax Detention Center on a 1.6 million dollar bond.
